1. Information We Collect

We collect data necessary to provide our safety and utility services:

Personal Information: Name and Phone Number (for account authentication and SOS contact).
Vehicle & QR Data: Information related to your QR stickers, vehicle categories, maintenance logs, and fuel efficiency data.
Device Information: Basic device details and crash logs to improve app stability.

2. Background Location Disclosure

Important: MySafetyQr collects location data to enable core safety features. This data is collected even when the app is closed or not in use (Background Location) to support:

Persistent Live Tracking: Allowing your designated guardians to track your location during transit.
Emergency SOS Alerts: Sending your real-time coordinates to guardians when an alert is triggered.
Vehicle Locator: Saving your parked position so you can navigate back to it later.

3. Sensitive Permissions (Audio)

Audio Data: If the SOS feature involves voice messaging, we access the microphone only during the active emergency alert state to record and transmit audio notes to your guardians.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

To facilitate features like the Digital V-Card and Smart Parking Timer.
To deliver SOS alerts and live location updates to your chosen guardians.
To track fuel efficiency and vehicle service history as per your logs.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. You have the right to request account deletion via the "Delete Account" option in the app or by emailing help@mysafetyqr.in.

6. Child Safety Standards (CSAE Policy)

MySafetyQr has a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Any account found violating these standards will be immediately terminated and reported to law enforcement agencies (NCMEC).
